  1. Hi All, I am trying to find a way to use the Password Retrieval API to only fetch the Password for the corresponding entry without fetching/displaying any of the extra information. The point is to use the retrieved password in a script that needs to use the fetched password. Does anyone have a way/any suggestions on how to achieve this using the API? Thanks in advance for taking a look at this request.
  2. Hey Team, I have found the setting, however now when I enable it, users with view permissions are unable to copy the obscured password. Is there another setting i have missed somewhere? Kind Regards Tyrone
  3. Hey Guys, Please bear in mind this mas well be user error. I have imported all of the relevant Password lists into Passwordstate and individually Copied the setting from the Hide Passwords template. The whole point was to prevent non-admin users from viewing the value of the passwords. I have tried "Copy Details & Settings From", "Copy Permissions From" and "Linked Password Lists" for the Hide Passwords template, however none of these actually resulted in non-admin users from being prevented from viewing the actual passwords. Am I missing a step here or have I configured something incorrectly maybe? As i understand it, the default list shows the password as ****** but can be revealed by anyone whereas the purpose of the Hide Password Template is to prevent non-admin users from being able to view the password at all? Thanks In Advance for you assistance on this matter
  4. Just to follow up, I did see that Windows Authentication was on in this blog post: https://blog.clickstudios.com.au/diagnose-and-fix-passthrough-authentication-issues/. I enabled Windows Authentication and moved NTLM up aswell
  5. Hey Guys, I've been asked to setup SSO to make using Passwordstate more convenient. I have read that first you need to disable Anonymous Authentication in IIS Manager which I have done. All the SSO are greyed out for me still. There was a point where SSO was selectable, I chose it and hit save but it reverted back to Manual Logon Authentication. I did not select Local Logon as my sign in option, Im using my AD credentials to logon . Could this be due to the way the software was initially installed? Is it possible that authentication may have been set to Form Based Authentication? Is there a way to check/verify this? This project was initiated and primary setup was performed before I joined the company so I am not aware of how it was initially setup. I have inclued a screenshot showing that Anonymous Authentication has been disabled as well as on showing that SSO is still greyed out. I am just learning as I go so any assistance on this topic is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  6. Hey Guys, I've been tasked with migrating our company from KeePass to Passwordstate. We are in the testing phase and one user brought up the point of seeing the description of a folder while hovering over its name in the folder structure. We have to follow a strict naming convention for our DBs so being able to hover over a specific folder and seeing a description of what its for saves a lot of time (Note: The folder shown in these images is just for illustrative purposes and does not follow the aforementioned naming convention). This is the feature in KeePass: This is the field that is used for the description in KeePass: And this is how that note translates to Passwordstate: The not carried over but now users have to manually navigate into each folder to find the one they actually need. I am not sure if some preview/hover feature like this exists or, if not, are there any plans to get this feature implemented in the future? Thanks in advance for the assistance on this matter!
