Make Password Generation Policies Discoverable via the API

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Thanks for your request. Are you aware that you can retrieve the ID's from the UI for this - see screenshot below?

Or, if you return a Password List's properties via the API, it will show the ID of the Password Generator Policy assigned to the Password List.

It's true, you can see the ID's using the webinterface, and you can retrieve the default one for a pwd list using the API but...

In my case, I only use powershell to work with the passwordstate system...

If I'm not able to see the available policies, add/edit/delete them, set them as a default for a pwd list, ... this limits the use of this system for me.

Adding the password policies to the API is a valid request and should be added to the to-do list in my opinion.
