In the GUI when the option "Users must first specify a reason why they need to view, edit or copy passwords" is enabled then a reason must be provided, however when using the api this is not the case, it would help us if there was an option to force users to provide it. This needs to be enabled on each Password List itself, and works independantly of the setting for the UI. Is this okay?
