temporary access

Trying to figure out the best appoach for this situation.  We sometimes need vendors to access servers temporarily for support issues.  The vendor will have an active account on the domain but is not added to any of the servers for any kind of access.  The vendor account also has no access to our passwordstate instance so the check out/in feature will not work.  What would be the best approach to  provide a temporary service account and password to that vendor with as much automation as possible and is fully audited.
