SysadMike Posted October 13, 2023 Share Posted October 13, 2023 Running Build 9665 We've been having problems getting backups to complete successfully, specifically the Database backups. PasswordStateFiles and PasswordStateKays both backup successfully but when we run tests we're getting Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: Cannot open backup device '\\server\share\Passwordstate.bak'. Operating system error 1326(The user name or password is incorrect.). After some searching, I believe this is due to us having our SQLEXPRESS service running as a local user on the server and not the account we are using for backups.
