automatic sharing of rights

As a relatively new Passwordstate userIi run into something that seems very unlogical to me :

 

When I share a link to a document on sharepoint with a collegue, het gets invited to work on the document AND automatically rights are being issued to the document.

 

Within Password state, sharing a permalink still requires me to manually give access for that entry, else the recipient still gets an acces denied.This seems so unlogical to me, if i share something, why do i still have to manually grand rights? :S
