Office 365 SMTP Client Authentication Method

Hello,

 

First i habe to sorry my bad english 

 

I'm trying to use SMTP with Office 365 Environment (Tenant). I cannot send E-Mails with the settings i can provide in the Password State System Settings. 

I have opened a Microsoft Support Case for this case and they told me that the used Authentication against the Office 365 Mailbox is not working, because the error Message says that

the user isn't authenticated so he cannot sending E-Mails. An Office 365 SMTP Authentication needs the Authentication Method "LOGIN".

 

Or has anyody else other experiences with SMTP Client against Office 365 ?
