API Keys associated only with individual Password Lists

Hello, 

 

We've been using API keys associated with folders extensively.
E.g. we have  folder and several shared lists under it, which share the same API Key. We just copy the same API key from the folder and paste it into the Shared lists beneath. 

Starting from 9.x Version, I can see all lists must have different API Key. It is not possible to paste my own value in the API key field. The field is grayed out. Is that correct? Is that possibility not coming back?

In version 9, we changed this for security reasons, as best practice is to use different API Keys for different Password Lists.

 

If you would like a feature request for an option for this, let us know and we can move this post into the Feature Requests section of the forum.
