Log Name: Application Source: SideBySide Description: Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Passwordstate Agent\PasswordstateAgent.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Passwordstate Agent\PasswordstateAgent.exe.Config" on line 44. bn8959 Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 I am also seeing this error. It appears the exe.config config file has the contents duplicated during the install. support Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 Hello, Could you please try the following: Uninstall the agent, and manually delete the folder if it still exists - it should Try clearing your cache in the folder c:\users\<you-windows-profile>\appdata\local\temp - we believe this is where it might be picking up a copy of the config file Does this help at all?
