Security Administrators add AD group

I am trying to add the group Domain Admins to the security Administrators group.  I can see it but I cant select it to assign rights to it.  Is this by design or am I just clicking the wrong thing?

Hi Ben,

 

This is by design, and a security feature. You cannot grant Security Groups that you are a member of, access to these roles. We try and prevent users from granting themselves additional access, which they may not meant to have.
