unlimitedresource Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 bit lost, seems if I have view permission on a folder I can create a subfolder underneath it; is this configurable?
support Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Hi unlimitedresource, At this stage there is no option to prevent this - if you have been give access to create Folders, you can create them anywhere - except for the options we have to prevent users from creating them in the root of the Passwords Home tree. We do plan on working on this in a future release. Regards Click Studios
unlimitedresource Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 thanks, where is the create (sub) folders permission granted ?
support Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 There are a couple of areas you can control this, on the following screens: Administration -> Passwordstate Administration -> Feature Access, and Menu Access tab, to specify who is allowed to create folders Administration -> Passwordstate Administration -> Feature Access, and Folder Options tab, to specify who is allowed to create folders in the root of Passwords Home (you must first have the Menu Access above to do this one) And this is not for 'sub' folders, but folders in general.
