Guest gmmarcin
Hi, I am getting the following when trying to ad new AD group. first noticed on build 8180, upgraded to 8205 but still no luck. I already have some AD groups added some time ago. When running "AD group debug" none of the groups return any count but I can get the list of groups and users. The password for Ldap/ad is ok. The scheduled AD sync seems to work ok and shows last sync as of last night. any thoughts? 27/12/2017 03:14:08 General Error Error Code = Thread was being aborted., StackTrace = at System.Threading.Thread.AbortInternal() at System.Threading.Thread.Abort(Object stateInfo) at System.Web.HttpResponse.AbortCurrentThread() at Passwordstate.Common.AddDebugInfoData(String Category, String DebugInformation, String EventType) at admin_securitygroups_default.QuerySecurityGroupsMembership_AD(Int32 intSecurityGroupID, String strSecurityGroup, String FQDN, String ObjectSID) at admin_securitygroups_default.ManualResynchronize(Int32 SecurityGroupID, String SecurityGroupName, String ADDomainNetBIOS, String ObjectSID, String FQDN, String PAReadID, String ADDomainLDAP, String SiteID) Error 27/12/2017 03:14:08 General Error Error Code = Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion. , StackTrace = at System.DirectoryServices.PropertyValueCollection.PopulateList() at System.DirectoryServices.PropertyValueCollection..ctor(DirectoryEntry entry, String propertyName) at System.DirectoryServices.PropertyCollection.get_Item(String propertyName) at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.PrincipalContext.DoLDAPDirectoryInitNoContainer() at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.PrincipalContext.DoDomainInit() at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.PrincipalContext.Initialize() at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.PrincipalContext.get_QueryCtx() at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.Principal.FindByIdentityWithTypeHelper(PrincipalContext context, Type principalType, Nullable`1 identityType, String identityValue, DateTime refDate) at System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.GroupPrincipal.FindByIdentity(PrincipalContext context, String identityValue) at admin_securitygroups_default.QuerySecurityGroupsMembership_AD(Int32 intSecurityGroupID, String strSecurityGroup, String FQDN, String ObjectSID) Error

support
Hello, We've seen this issue once before, and we believe it is because there is a pending restart of your server after applying a patch for the .NET Framework. Can you please restart your server and see if this resolves it? Regards Click Studios
