Change from AD Integration back to Passwordstate native authentication

We initially installed Passwordstate with AD integration but now we've decided that we want to "unhook" AD integration so that in the event of a disaster, we will be able to login and access our passwords in Passwordstate without first having to restore an Active Directory server.

What do we have to do to unhook AD integration without losing all of our data?

Hi Geeks,

Although this is entirely possible, you might not need to convert from AD to Forms based.  Instead, in the event AD was unavailable, you could log in with emergency, which is effectively a local account, and export all shared passwords from Administration -> Export All Passwords.

But if you still want to convert, please see the attached document:)

Hope this helps!
