kuky Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Hi, While everything else is working great, i'm having trouble with permalinks. Example of permalink: https://pw.domain.com/pid=139 Error is generic 404 (attached) Passwordstate is latest version. I'm guessing it's some IIS config issue but i'm not sure what. Any help is appreciated.
support Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Hello Kuky, I've just tested the permalink functionality here, and it appears to be working okay for us. Do you happen to use any Load Balancers or Reverse Proxies which might be causing this? If you look in your web.config file, located in the root of your Passwordstate folder, do you see the following settings below - you should see them, unless someone has removed them? Regards Click Studios
kuky Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Yes web.config is there. We don't use reverse proxy/LB in this instance, it's entirely local on prem site. We had WSUS site on that same box so maybe it messed up some of the iis settings.
support Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Hi Kuky, Possibly WSUS has made some changes to IIS, but we cannot think of what change could cause this unfortunately. If you're not able to find the cause for this, we do have some instructions on the following page to move your web and database instances to a different server if required - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/documentation/ Regards Click Studios
