cdillon Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Hi all, I know this is probably something that can't be easily achieved but I'll ask anyway. I'm in the process of migrating Passwordstate from Local user accounts/authentication to AD managed accounts/authentication. Obviously, as a result of this all previous mappings and permission schemes for users and groups no longer apply, this includes private personal password lists. Is there any way to remap the permissions with relative ease? Cheers C
support Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Hello, You can use the following article as a guide for this migration - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/downloads/Forms_to_AD_Migration.pdf If you have any questions about it, please let us know. Regards Click Studios
support Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Hi, Sorry, just to clarify, when you say 'Local Auth' are you using the Forms Based authentication version of Passwordstate? We do have local account logins, when integrated with Active Directory, so thought I would ask. The screenshot below will allow you to determine this. Regards Click Studios
cdillon Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Sorry I should have been clearer, yes I mean forms to AD. Many thanks for the documentation! support 1
support Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 No problems at all - you would not have know the other account types were possible. Regards Click Studios
