SQL Server Standard number of CAL

Hi team, 

I have a question regarding the number of CAL of SQL Server Standad that are requiered for a PasswordState installation. With 1 CAL is enough for connecting the web server to the DB and given access to all the users?

 

I also need to clarify this for planning our HA environment.

Hi Pedro,

We do not have much in the way of SQL Server licensing backgound, so your question might be better directed to Microsoft.

 

For our software though, it uses a single SQL Account to connect to the database, so we would presume you would require 1 CAL per instance of SQL Server that our software talks to. Since you will be using our HA Module, you should require 1 CAL on each SQL Server.
