Change Folder Permission Model

Is it possible to change a folder from Advanced to Standard permission model?

Hi gsb.sabroo, when you right click on the folder and select Edit Properties there is a Folder Permission Model box where you can select the type of model you want to use. if the folder isn't at root, you can only disable inheritance from parent.

@Vincent Thanks for your reply! When i go to edit folder properties, the folder permission model box is grayed out and I can't make any changes to it.

Is this a nested folder, as you can only change the permission model on the top level folder you see in the Tree.

This is the top level folder with several folder and lists nested within it.

You should be able to change top level folders - maybe you don't have access to the top level folder, which is why this setting is disabled.
