Download speed

Hi Guys,

 

Trying to download the latest version and am getting an incredibly slow download speed.  Is there anything that can be done about this or even to get a US\Europe Mirror setup ?

Sorry, we're really not sure why the International links between countries is so slow on occasion.

 

We do actually have CDN support now as well, and you can use the URL of  https://www.clickstudios.com.au/getupgradefile.aspx for this - it should be a lot faster.

I experience the same speed problem and im downloading from Sweden.

Here is a traceroute  and im beeing routed through USA in not so optimal way.

 

From what i see i´m routed from Stockholm -> US, California -> US, Texas --> US, California --> Sydney, Australia

 

I get about 30-70kb/sec downloading the install files.

Hi HA4g3n,

 

Yes, that article could explain some slowness, but we've also had some customers complain for a while now that the international links are slow.

Either way, the CDN network link should make it a lot faster for customers now who need to upgrade.
