  1. Hi David, Would there be any information in the Windows Application Event log as to why it would have been stopped? We've just performed the same upgrade you did above, and the App pool was started for us after the upgrade. Regards Click Studios
  2. Hi Dave, Can you please check that your API is working okay - i.e. open the Standard API documentation from under the Help Menu? Or look in IIS, and see if the PasswordstateApps application pool is possibly stopped? Regards Click Studios
  3. Thanks for letting the community know Joe, we appreciate it. Regards Click Studios
  4. Hello Everyone, Today we have released build 9300, with many changes and fixes included. For full details, please refer to our changelog here https://www.clickstudios.com.au/passwordstate-changelog.aspx Regards Click Studios
  5. Hello, Could you please try the following: Uninstall the agent, and manually delete the folder if it still exists - it should Try clearing your cache in the folder c:\users\<you-windows-profile>\appdata\local\temp - we believe this is where it might be picking up a copy of the config file Does this help at all? Regards Click Studios
  6. Hi Jean, No, you cannot just do this for the extension alone. And that's mainly because users can still see the value of the passwords within the full UI, which defeats the purpose of hiding it in the browser extensions. Regards Click Studios
  7. Hi Jean, You should be able to do this by hiding passwords in the UI of Passwordstate also, based on the setting you see in my screenshot below. Regards Click Studios
  8. Hello Garry, We believe this issue is caused by you not following the upgrade instructions correctly - you are first meant to upgrade to build 8995, and then you can upgrade to version 9. Can you please restore your system, and as of next Monday, we are releasing build 9300, with a lot easier upgrade process. Thanks very much. Regards Click Studios
  9. Hello Mike, The only way this would be possible would be to add anothr binding in IIS, and then modify the Base URL field on the screen Administration -> System Settings -> Miscellaneous tab. By changing the Base URL though, this will be used in different areas of our software i.e. links in emails, when running reports which talk to the API, etc. So this might not be ideal. If you can use an Active/Active setup for SQL and Passwordstate, then this polling does not need to communicate to the API. You can have an active/active using either SQL Basic Availability Groups, Always On Availability Groups, or SQL Clustering. Regards Click Studios
  10. Hello, If you go to the screen Administration -> System Settings -> Email Alerts & Options, there is the setting below: With the Self Destruct Message feature, and Emailing Permalinks, send these emails via the Email Address of: *The user who is logged into Passwordstate *The mailbox account settings you see below on this page Hopefully this helps. Regards Click Studios
  11. Hello, We have had a few reports of that when installing on the same server, and it will be fixed for next release - due in a week or 2. There just seems to be some sort of conflict with the InstallAware application when used on the same machine. Regards Click Studios
  12. Hello Emad, You can download from the following page without registering to download - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/passwordstate-checksums.aspx Regards Click Studios
  13. Hello, As communicated to all customers, our In-Place Upgrade feature has been offline for a while now, whilst we work on a new upgrade process. This new simplified upgrade process will be available in 2 to 3 weeks time, so please wait until that release before again attempting to upgrade. You will be able to find the updated Installation Instructions on our page here - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/documentation/default.aspx Regards Click Studios
  14. Hello, We've answered your support ticket via email this morning. Regards Click Studios
  15. Hello Daniel, As of version 9 this is required, as we've made the Password Resets and Account Heartbeats consistent with all other types of accounts, where we now use PowerShell scripts for this purpose. Regards Click Studios
  16. Hello Daniel, This PowerShell module is required to be installed on your Passwordstate web server, so we can only presume someone has now uninstalled it. Below are the instructions for this, and please restart the Passwordstate Windows Service after making this change. Open PowerShell as Admin, and run the command: Add-WindowsFeature RSAT-AD-PowerShell Regards Click Studios
  17. Hi Jimmy, This affects any Chromium based browser, including Edge. Regards Click Studios
  18. Hello Jimmy, Google recently made a change in Chrome which broke this functionality, but we have a fix coming in the next release, due in about 3 weeks time. Regards Click Studios
  19. Hi Tony, Thanks for the information, and we'll use your screenshots to and do some testing to see if we can reproduce this. In theory, if you do not have a Password List selected for copying settings in the User Account Policy, then we should ignore that System Settings for linking the Password List to the Template. It does sound like a bug, and we'll need to work on a fix for the next release. Thanks again. Regards Click Studios
  20. Hi Pavel, We responded to you email within 7 hours, so possibly this has been caught in your spam filter. I've just resent our email again from our support email address, and our backup Gmail address. Please let us know if you did not get these emails? Regards, Support
  21. Thanks for feedback - we appreciate it. And yes, when using SQL Express, you need to enable TCP/IP - please refer to our install instructions here for that - https://www.clickstudios.com.au/downloads/Installing_SQLServerExpress_2019.pdf Regards Click Studios
  22. Hello Rankinc, With our Browser Based Launcher, we do not have a feature for viewing active sessions unfortunately. For your second query, can you please log a support call via this page https://www.clickstudios.com.au/support.aspx, and provide instructions for how we can reproduce this issue - and then we can look into it. Thanks very much. Regards Click Studios
  23. Hello Emad, In the next release, the same Windows Installer used to perform a fresh install of Passwordstate, will also be used for upgrades. So you will need to manually download the installer from our web site, confirm the checksums, and then run the installer. Regards Click Studios
